A Go Talk Assistive Communication Device

I changed the amount needed from 249 to 199 because I had a 50.00 donation come in to my Paypal withouty going thru my Chipin In page so it doesn't show it was recieved.

Imagine not being able to ask for what you want or need. Not even being able to tell some if you hurt, hungry or just have to go to the bathroom. Thats what my son deals with everyday.
His name is Jamie and hes 11,autistic and non verbal I am making this wish to help with purchasing an assistive communication device called a Go Talk

So far I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to get the school district to provide one. They always have an excuse as to why now is not the time for them to purchase one for him. He currently uses some PECS to communicate but they are always getting misplaced or ruined because he chews on them.
As far as our medical coverage paying for the device we have an HMO and they will not cover any equipment that is not medically neccessary. Apparently being able to communicate is not a medical neccessity.
Previously hes used a Go Talk that a past teacher purchased for his use at school. Unfortunately when we moved the device had to stay with the teacher.
The Go Talk was really easy for Jamie to access and gave him a voice. He was doing so well with it before our move which is why I would like to get him his own.The cost of a GoTalk is 249.00
